The Greatest Show on Earth.....

We thought this would be the best & easiest way to keep all our family & friends up to date on our day to day happenings in Whistler. We'll try to make a post each day, however we're not going to fool ourselves. We're not young fella's any more and the days are going to be long. But we'll try our best to include as many of the highlights of our adventure of a lifetime as often as possible.

Closing Ceremonies

I’m Canadian and proud of it, in 10 years someone is going to ask me where I was when Sidney Crosby scored the overtime goal to win the gold medal at the 2010 Olympics and I’m going to say I was cooking with my buddies in the athlete’s village in Whistler watching the game in the cafeteria with 300 of my newest friends. My good friend Michael Smith and I have had many culinary adventures over the past 10 years but this one has to top them all.

  3. I just looked at the photos and it makes me relive the joy all over again. Bill, I'm loving you watching the game on that wee little TV when you've got the big supreme TV at home. Just like Gord and I, who needs 48" high def? just get closer to the small regular 20"! True Canadian spirit and joy.
    Cheers,
    Cheryl
