Looking forward to see Bill run his butt off for someone else for once, lol. Hey Bill, you think you will be able to us your famous term*Yumbo magumbo* lol. You have given the name of the Chef trade in the military a huge boost, proud to have worked for you and along side. Good Luck..Go Navy Go!!
ReplyDeleteWhere on earth did they find thoses judges? Doh!
ReplyDeleteThe judges sure were harsh. On both guys. It was a very unbalanced table. And they had to have been blind to give the plating and originality to Flay.
ReplyDeleteGood Showing Bill, Jann was giving me the play by play over Skype, look forward to watching the show on my next holiday break!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Jim
Bill nice touch with the Navy Anchors and you wearing the black Navy wrist band. Great show! Did not agree with judges marks. Keep up the great work. Susan and Gus in Victoria send.
ReplyDeleteExcellent show you guys. Beautiful, you can sure tell you know exactly what your doing. You made us proud. The judges were a flop though,Tony Sabato hasn't got a clue. Your a star Bill,on TV your Grandma and Dad would be very very PROUD,as I am. Love Aunt Carol Lynn xx
ReplyDeleteHey Bill
ReplyDeleteThe Iron Chef was great You were a great team. But those Judges were as smart as a bag of hammers. The woman on the right I don,t like this I don't like that. May she should have stayed home. Cheryl and I enjoyed the show. Oh bring on that club sandwich. Gord
I did enjoy the show last night. It was fun to watch although I did not think much of the judges. So how does it work you guys just started to cook with no real talking with one another? Did you have a plan in mind before you knew what you were cooking? Good luck in your adventure in BC. I will enjoy them
ReplyDeleteGreat shows guys, Michael, your food looked delicious. Those judges were abysmal and completely incompetent. Have a great time in Whistler
ReplyDeleteHi Bill,
ReplyDeleteWow! What a competition! Great job and hats off to you all. I was not impressed with the judges. Your presentation was excellent. Bill, really enjoy your blog and keep up the good job. Ned, Will,Sean and Fred are in for a treat when I get Michael's new cook book. Wish me luck!

Superb, we are very proud of you Bill, great Team working together on Iron Chef America. We surely are missing you but also know how much you wanted to go to the Olympics. Enjoy the experience and we are looking forward to your home coming, not counting down yet...

Great job guys, you made the East Coasters proud. Avocado, you got to be kidding, what kind of surprise ingredient is that. No doubt you were surprised. I loved your recipes. Just by viewing the TV, I would rate your presentation and originality above Flay's (and I am a fan of Bobby Flay). Can't say about taste, however, it is always one person's opinion on what they like. If they didn't get the first two correct (which was quite obvious on TV) how would they get the third correct. I would love to try the soft shelled crab club sandwich. Great job guys, you have done us Maritimers proud.
ReplyDeleteBill, you have come along way from the Chief Cook at the CFSPDB (Edmonton Military Prison. Your food was always supreme and very well presented, the inmates never wanted to leave. LOL
